PUBLIC HEALTH - Health is no longer measured in terms of disease and death but it can be affected by the environment we live in, what sort of job we have, what we eat and how we live. Public Health EHPs work in partnership with doctors, health visitors, and dieticians to help promote better public health. Their duties include the control of communicable diseases in conjunction with the local health authority and assisting in local and national initiatives to improve awareness and understanding. Their efforts are focused on both individuals and communities. | |
